National Recovery Month: Full List of Events on in Derbyshire!

Look at all the wonderful events the Recovery Project's are hosting in September! 

  • Tues 03/09/24 Chesterfield FC Community Trust 10am - 1pm
    Tour of the SMH Group Stadium, speaker Shane Nicolson and chair-based exercise.
  • Weds 04/09/24 Derby County Community Trust Football Event 11am start
    Celebration Football Fixture at Ilkeston Town Football Club.

  • Fri 06/09/24 Pathways of Chesterfield, 10am & 1pm, 106 Saltergate, S40 1NE.
    Recovery themed graffiti, Mocktails and BBQ food provided.

  • Weds 11/09/24 STAND TO Get Moving Event 3pm-7pm
    Wallis Barracks in Chesterfield – Circuit, chair-based exercises and yoga-light refreshments included. Friends and Family Welcome. Contact admin@daas.uk.com

  • Sat 14/09/24 10am-5pm – Honey Hope Farm Community Juicing Day.

  • Sunday 15/09/24 6-9pm Zink – RISE
    Zink will be celebrating recovery week with a twist of nostalgia over a home cooked curry. Join us for the type of board games you played in the 80's and 90's to a background of golden hits from those years, on vinyl of course! Free and a vegan option will be available.   • Sat 21/09/24 Global Adventure Missions – Night Hike 7:30pm - 10:30pm
    Meet at Hooks Car Park, S32 1BR for hot drinks and biscuits, followed by a moderate walk, fun for most abilities. ALL welcome. Email: info@global-adventure.org

  • Tuesday, 24/09/24 - South Derbyshire CVS, 12:30pm-2:30pm

  • Weds 25/09/24 Derventio CT - Growing Lives – Geocaching Event 10am - 2pm
    Meet at Growing Lives at 10am: The Orchard Works, 1 Grenville Drive, Ilkeston, ED7 8HT. There is free on-street parking. . No equipment needed, just bring yourself and shoes you can walk in. Raincoat if it’s wet! Email info@derventiohousing.com

  • 28th September 1pm -8pm Kelsey Family – Located in Belper.
    Offering a full day of different holistic wellbeing activities, this includes Animal Assisted Therapy, yoga and meditation, Barefoot walking, Fitness Pilates, intro to fire Workshop, Cold Water Ice Baths and Breathwork. Questionnaire for deafblind and hard-of-hearing people

We’re seeking your support in distributing an essential safety survey titled 'Do You Feel Safe?' aimed at deaf, deafblind and hard-of-hearing people. This will help us to identifying areas of concern for the safety and security of individuals with range of deafness and hearing loss, both within and outside their homes. 'Do You Feel Safe?'
