Rhubarb Farm Recover-Tree

This year Rhubarb Farm are showcasing a tree at the Bolsover Christmas Tree Festival. Ben, the Recovery Lead, and their volunteers have been working tirelessly to craft a tree that represents freedom from substance use and all the great projects that are available in Derbyshire for people in recovery.

The tree includes:

-Important numbers and charities that are open across the Festive period for people to call if they are in crisis. These are on the tree itself and are also available as an anonymous Christmas card to take home.

- “Sober Clauses” are crafted out of recycled materials and the wooden baubles that were made by Rhubarb Farms volunteers.

-Doves made from Derbyshire Recovery Partnerships leaflets, showing freedom from substances.

-Baubles made from GRID leaflets, charities across Derbyshire that support people in Recovery (like us!)

-Purple ribbons, the national colour for addiction awareness.

-Stained glass suns and butterflies showing hope and rebirth.

And... much more! Pop down to see it at Bolsover Christmas Tree Festival at Bolsover Castle, open until January!
